ACI-1080 SCSI Differential Bus Converter translates a single-ended SCSIbus into a differential SCSI bus and vice versa. It can be used to locateperipherals such as disk drives, CD-ROMs, tape backup peripherals, laserprinters, and image scanners up to 75 feet (25 meters) from the hostcomputer.SCSI Differential can also be used as a single-ended SCSI bus extender.Installing two units back to back enables multiple single-ended SCSIdevices to communicate at 10 MB per second over a distance of 75 feet.The converter supports a maximum data rate of 10 MB per second inasynchronous and synchronous mode and requires no additional software tooperate.
